Best ever British Superbike race results for Ilya Mikhalchik at TT Circuit Assen

TT Circuit Assen hosted the first of the three British Superbike Showdown rounds over the weekend, with Carl Cox Motorsport-supported rider Ilya Mikhalchik feeling confident going into the event.

And it proved to be a highly successful one, with Ilya scoring his best ever result with a seventh in Race 1, before going one position better in Race 2.

Despite a DNF in the third and final race at the 'Cathedral of Speed', Ilya was battling for fifth in all three races and finished just three seconds off the podium in the Sprint race.

Ilya and Team IWR will be back in action for the penultimate round of the 2026 BSB season at Donington Park (2nd - 4th October) where they will be looking to build and continue to push on what is proving to be a successful rookie Superbike season for the Ukrainian racer.
