Not every weekend in drag racing goes to plan

Joe Gauci is part of the Carl Cox Motorsport crew and a highly respected figure in Australian drag racing, where he combines technical skill with fierce competitiveness. A qualified fitter, machinist, and automotive expert, he founded Profab Motorsport Fabrications in 2003, turning his lifelong passion into a racing legacy.

"There are some positives and some negatives to take out of it. But the team has worked hard all weekend given me the best race car, you know, possible, but unfortunately we've been let down with a part… I guess that's motorsport folks, you know, there's highs, there's lows. We all live for the high but unfortunately we got to take the lows as well. But our next event we've planned for is January, and we can move forward from there."
