Simon Reid ready to race with Carl Cox BMW By MLav Racing

Carl Cox Motorsport is proud to announce that Simon Reid will be racing in the UK this year for Carl Cox BMW By MLav Racing, contesting the 2026 Pirelli National Superstock Championship onboard a BMW M 1000 RR.

Simon makes a return to the UK after a stint in the Middle East, joining the GRYD - MLav Racing team for the 2026 season. We caught up with the Nothern Irish racer at the recent BSB test at the iconic Donington Park. 

It's great to have a competitive package with the Alpha Racing bike and I'm proud to bring Carl Cox and Alpha Racing into the MLav team. I think it's a really good package with a strong team of people, we're all super excited to see what we can do this year.

“I come from a from a racing background with my father Brian. He was an ex-TT rider and twice world champion. Racing has always been in the family and has always been a big part of my life. In fact, the Isle of Man was where I first met Carl. I’ve known Carl for the last couple of years, and it's been good getting to know those guys, getting to know Carl, and getting to know Rod. And that sort of brings us to where we are today. This last couple of years I've been racing in British Superbikes and we've got big goals and big aspirations.
