The Remix: Reeves and Farnier drop the clutch for TT 2026

After a year of silence that felt like a skipped beat in a headline set, the big man is back. Multiple World and British Champion Tim Reeves has officially confirmed he’s returning to the Island for the 2026 Isle of Man TT, and he’s bringing some serious French flair to the chair. Reeves will be campaigning the Carl Cox Motorsport LCR Honda, reuniting with the legendary DJ and motorsport mogul Carl Cox for another high-octane assault on the Mountain Course.

Partnering Reeves is Melanie Farnier, one of the quickest and most technically proficient passengers to ever grace the TT. Returning to the 37.73-mile circuit for the first time since 2022, Farnier is no stranger to the "limit." She previously held the record for the fastest lap by a female passenger at 111.053mph—a masterclass in precision and bravery that cements her pedigree among the greats.

The Stats: A Headline Performance

If the TT was a festival, Tim Reeves would be on the main stage every night. Since his debut in 2008—where he became the first newcomer to podium in 30 years—he has been a model of consistency and raw speed. His career is defined by a staggering level of performance; he has secured eight podiums and a hard-fought victory in 2013, all while maintaining a record of never finishing outside the top six at the TT. With a career-best lap of 117.729mph, he remains the fifth-fastest driver of all time and one of only five humans to ever lap the Mountain Course at over 117mph.

The Carl Cox support continues

The partnership with Carl Cox adds that extra layer of cool to the paddock. And Carl, a man who knows exactly how to command a crowd whether he’s behind the turntables or the pit wall, is buzzing about the 2026 campaign.

"The TT remains my favourite event of the year… We block out our schedules to see the guys and girls do their thing on two and three wheels. We’ve been on the podium with Tim before—this isn't our first rodeo!" - Carl Cox

The Hunger Remains

For Reeves, missing 2025 was a tough pill to swallow, but the time away has only turned up the volume on his ambition. "Missing last year was tough, but the hunger is still there," Reeves commented. "The Carl Cox Motorsport LCR Honda is a proven package. Melanie has shown how quick and committed she is around the Mountain Course, and we’re aiming to build that rhythm through practice week."

With the technical backing of the LCR Honda and the combined experience of a duo that knows exactly how to find the apex at triple-digit speeds, the Reeves/Farnier pairing is looking like the "must-watch" act of the 2026 Sidecar TT.
